Vau Challenge 2021
The race had about 30 athletes in different categories, some national tops from both the Open and Esperanças circuit and even former European champions were present in the Algarve.
The competition itself started at 9am with the Sub-16, Sub-18 and Open categories, but soon after the first rounds the organization chose to make a stop due to the lack of swell at the height of the prea-sea.
After the forced stop, he returned to action with the realization of the women's final, which had mostly athletes from the Clube Naval Povoense. The athlete Constança Silva got the better of her who imposed her bodyboard on the other athletes.
Then it was necessary to implement the double stage system to take advantage of the existing light and bring the championship to a good port. Thus, simultaneously, the finals of Sub-14, Master, Sub-16, Open, Sub-18 and also Bodysurf took place.
